when you find me
The Swedish entry Kiruna-Kigali was actually directed by a guy who graduated two classes above me in film school. I haven't seen it yet (its boradcast on Swedish television in time for the awards in January) but from what I have heard and read it feels like one of these global conscience films (Babel, Mammooth etc.) in short film format. With that in mind I think it has a good chance of being nominated.
ReplyDeleteCool! I'm also intrigued by "when you find me", directed by Bryce Dallas Howard!
DeleteThat is an interesting film considering her background. You know what its about?
DeleteShe and her father made the film based on winning photographs from a competition that Canon had. They used the films to develop a short film linking the various themes in the photo. Sounds very interesting and unique.
